| Idea and work of all this is done by Andreas Benne vgaphost@saarlandoutpost.com | |
| January 2005: | Host computer for games shut down. 20 games were hosted here in 5 years. New games from Saarland Outpost will be run on vgap.drewhead.org. This site can provide much better service than Saarland Outpost ever did. |
| Summer 2004: | Second redesign of Saarland Outpost. |
| June 2004: | The third "Site Of The Month Award" |
| Fall 2003: | Host machine for games (P1 133) was replaced by a unbelievable fast P2 266 machine ;-) |
| Fall 2002: | From now on, the following "Darwinian Tourneys" (two to four) switched over to vgap.drewhead.org which provides much better service for players than Saarland Outpost. |
| Summer 2002: | No more updates for the german Planets documentation. Working on the german book for Planets 4 instead. |
| 2001/2002: | Some of the special scripted games used to run here on Saarland Outpost. Tim Wissman played here in some of those games. Remember the games "Doomed Borg 1". Followed by the games "Cisco's Challenge", "Doomed Borg 2" and "The First Darwinian Tourney". Most of those games were managed by Quixote. See www.solport.com/games.htm or www.solport.com/vgap4/quarters/campaigns.htm |
